Paid Memberships Pro
Billing Fields
By default, paid Memberships Pro (PMPro) does not require billing fields. If your gateway is set to PayPal or Stripe, they will not appear.
They can be added manually (user fields). Or added with a plugin.
However, when a gateway requires them, they are added to your checkout page.
It appears the code you are referring to to hide the Braintree fields has been forked and updated by another user recently. You would need to test this to see if it meets your needs.
FluentCRM - I would recommend you contact FluentCRM support. If they have questions for us they can contact us.
Recapture is the only abandoned cart solution we have available at this point. We don’t know of any others.
Woo Intergration.
If I were to judge by the support questions we have received, many sites use this. If people were inclined to leave a review, I suspect it would be left on the core PMPro plugin page. https://wordpress.org/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/.
Setting discount prices for your members is the #1 user of this plugin.
Using Woo to Sell Membership as products is the secondary use and can make some of our other Add Ons incompatable. Please see a complete list here: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/gateway/woocommerce/#compatibility
SEO and PMPro.
I believe this guide can answer the questions about Post Views and SEO for protected content.

We are integrated with FluentCRM, just not for the trigger type you are requesting (https://fluentcrm.com/integrations/paid-memberships-pro-integration/). This would need to be custom development for you or your team.
As for intermediate options, PMPro does create orders in "token" status for users that do not complete checkout. We are leveraging our Zapier App to do some abandoned cart automation for our own membership site. We don't have live examples to share, but check out these links:
